Broader Perspective: Future of energy

    One big obstacle is the current patent law. i cannot afford the fees to build a system Africa. I want to evolve better wind systems etc, but folks seem to think its ok to patent such things as the assignment of a ip to a wind farm, or using a whale fin for a blade.
    Its like that big Stirling energy farm out in some usa desert. great it works and is 45 percent efficient, but still costs more than coal. Technology isn't the problem, its cost. Maybe if we could mass produce the plasma coal conversion technology from alter energy in Canada , we may get cheap clean coal and no industrial waste. And ... what happened to pebble beds
